I Deshan Dias I joined the bank service in 2012 soon after leaving school. During my school career I played for St Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa 1st IX, and scored 1000 runs for the season. While playing for the school I represented Sri Lanka under 17, 19, 20 teams. After joining the bank I played to the bank’s Division 1 A team right through out. I was a member when we achieved Runners Up in Mercantile Division 1 for three consecutive years. And also I played Club Cricket as well. I was at Colombo colts, Baduraliya Sc, Bloomfiled and BRC clubs. Presently I am attached to the Lankance CC. During my club cricket career I played around 61 first class matches and scored more than 2350 runs with 5 centuries and 6 half centuries. In addition as a batsman I have a history of more than 150 victims behind the stumps as the wicket keeper. In the year 2013 I represented the Kandurata IX for Sri Lanka One day Provincial tournament. In the year 2015 I was elected as the Emerging Best Batsman in BRC cricket awarded at Dialog Axiata Cricket award ceremony. In the year 2016 I was selected by the Cricket Board to the 60 member squad to tour Australia and 2017 18 I was selected to Galle province one day team. I have scored 452 runs and got 31 victims in 2018 19 first class season. Furthermore I have been highlighted as the wicketkeeper who got highest number of victims during the said season. Moreover I have scored 214 runs in limited over tournament in the same season. During the 2019 20 latest first class season I have been able to scored 432 runs and 22 victim
