Seasoned campaigner, Sameen Kandanearachchi has been in the Sri Lankan domestic arena
since 2008 when he made his first-class debut for Sri Lanka Air Sports Club. Sameen has played
for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club, Colombo Cricket Club, Badureliya Cricket Club, Galle Cricket
Club, Sinhalese Sports Club, Moors Sports Club, and Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club
during his 14 years splendid career.

Sameen has managed 2277 runs in 54 matches with 2 centuries and 14 centuries and has
managed to capture 91 catches and 31 stumps behind the wickets. Sameen has managed 1233
runs in 63 List-A games while recording a career-best of 87 with 7 half-centuries. Sameen has
maintained a blistering strike rate of 121.52 in T20s whole managing 429 runs with a career-best
of unbeaten 91.

Sameen had a stint with Greenvale Kangaroos Cricket Club from 2014 to 2018 where he
managed 1073 runs in 39 games with one century and 5 half-centuries while accumulating
experience about Australian pitches.
