Slow left-arm orthodox spinner Chanuka Dilshan has gained a lot of attention in the Sri Lankan
Cricket arena due to his masterclass with the ball. Chanuka was brilliant with the ball since his
young age for St. Servatius College, Matara where he captured 158 wickets in 45 two-day games
with an economy of 2.67 including, 5 10-wicket hauls in a match and 9 5-wicket hauls in an
innings.

Chanuka's brilliance with the ball during his school career gained him his first-class debut in
2018 for Moors Sports Club, where he captured 5 wickets for 75 in the first innings and 3
wickets for 63 runs in the second innings. Chanuka has managed 41 wickets in the 10 first-class
games he has played while recording an economy of 3.33.

Chanuka is known for his ability to limit batsman's scoring options in the limited over format,
where he has managed 29 wickets at an economy of 3.96 in 17 List-A games and, has recorded
an economy of 6.23 while capturing 10 wickets in 12 games in T20s.
